The annual Moodlemoot is coming up and we hope you will be able to join Lambda Solutions along with hundreds of Moodle users, educational technologists, eLearning experts and vendors.
We’re looking forward to sharing experiences and learning from each other at Moodlemoot 2011 in Edmonton from May 2-5.
What’s happening at Moodlemoot? The 3-day conference offers close to 50 presentations, workshops, discussions and hands-on learning opportunities.
Among the more than 30 expert speakers are Moodle founder Martin Dougiamas, Paul Stacey of BC Campus, Stephen Downes, Terry Anderson, Cindy Ives and many others.
We’re also proud that you’ll get a chance to hear presentations from Lambda Solutions’ own Scott Tearle and Jim Yupangco.
Scott Tearle’s presentation is “Moodle 2.0 Repositories, concept and practical application”.
This workshop will explain the benefits of repositories and show you how to set up a repository. After this session you will have a good understanding of the concept and considerations that will help you to plan and implement repositories.
Jim Yupangco’s presentation is “Cross-institutional Moodle Shared Services in BC”.
This presentation will focus on the Shared Services model: its vision, its business paradigm and the support systems in place, using BC Campus as a case study. BC Campus, in partnership with Lambda Solutions provides Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) Shared Services to post-secondary institutions across British Columbia.
We’re looking forward to seeing our fellow Moodle, eLearning and technology enthusiasts at Moodlemoot 2011, and beyond. Check out the MoodleMoot Canada website.
