Vancouver, BC [February 06, 2020] – On February 3rd, 2020, BCBusiness announced their finalists for the BCBusiness Women of the Year Awards. We’re thrilled that Lambda Solutions’ CEO and Founder, Shevy Levy, is a contender to win in the Innovator category!
Shevy began her career working with different technologies to better teach gifted children in Israel, developing a deep passion for technology and learning.
After immigrating to Canada in 1993, Shevy continued to develop her passion by securing a position with a government-funded research project that focussed on the integration of technology and education. This work allowed her to identify a gap in the corporate market that eLearning technology could fill.
With a solid foundation in the education field, an entrepreneurial spirit, and her vision to integrate technology and education, Shevy started her own company, Lambda Solutions. In 18 years, the company has grown from the corner of a basement in North Vancouver to be one of the most established and respected LMS Solutions organizations with over 1.4 million learners spanning the globe.
Shevy is also a passionate and dedicated volunteer in her community, working to empower young women in their businesses or professions. For the past three years, she has mentored a group of 7-9 women from different industry sectors, including an architect, RCMP investigator and doctors, where she provides insights, guidance and inspiration to help them achieve their career goals.
BCBusiness will be honouring all finalists and awarding the winners on April 2nd, 2020 at the Westin Bayshore hotel in Vancouver. All finalists will also be featured in the April issue of BCBusiness.
Congratulations Shevy, we’re all cheering for you!
