Founded in 2003, Ecole Chocolat is a professional chocolate school that has helped hundreds of graduates from all over the world discover their passion for chocolate, hone their skills, and open successful chocolate businesses. Founder and lead instructor Pam Williams has been an influential member of the fine chocolate industry since 1981 when she opened her shop au Chocolat, in Vancouver, Canada. Ten years later, she sold the business and found another passion in the world of online education at the University of British Columbia in the Continuing Education department. But Pam never left the world of fine chocolate behind. People would ask her where they could get training to open a chocolate business, and a lightbulb went off. Using all the pieces of her professional background, Ecole Chocolat was born. Together with our team of instructors, we’ve helped hundreds of people discover a passion for this (wonderfully delicious!) craft, hone their skills, and if they so desire, start successful businesses all over the world.
