Often you have specific data that you are looking for in your reports. The ability to reach all your data is a key feature of Zoola Analytics. In Zoola, the first step in building a report is selecting (or creating) the right Data Source. While most of the data is available by joining regular tables, you may need to add a Derived Table to get those last hard to reach data points.
During this session our VP of Products, Stewart Rogers, will show you how to add a Derived Table to your Data Source and pull in those specific data points (i.e. groups, cohorts, etc.) or custom fields. You may also want to use a Derived Table to write your own SQL for your own reports.
This is an advanced topic for Zoola Analytics.
In this 30-minute session, you will learn:
- What is a Derived Table, when to use it, and what are some common use cases
- How to modify a Data Source and add a Derived Table
- How to write your own SQL and use them in the Data Source
